# Sulfuric acid

Sulfuric acid is a strong inorganic acid. Pure sulfuric acid is a colourless, viscous, oily and odourless liquid. It is one of the most important acids in the chemical process industry and the most commonly-produced chemical in the world.

- pH adjustment
- production of artificial fertilizers
- preparation of other acids
